Printing  
  Double-Sided (Duplex) Printer Location
Linda Hermle has the only duplex-printer on campus. Please arrange with her to use the printer.

Landscape:
In File -> Printer Set-up make these setting selections:
  • Landscape Duplex
  • 1 up
  • For other checkboxes use default settings
  • Shortedge (this will open a "conflict" box but simply select "ignore)
File - Print - All

Portrait Duplex:
In File -> Printer Set-up make these setting selections:
  • Portrait
  • 1 up
  • For other checkboxes use default settings
  • Long Edge (this may open a "conflict" box but simply select "ignore)
File - Print - All

Printing Problems:
  • Children in labs press the "print" button multiple times thinking this will make it print faster. This wastes enormous amounts of paper and ink cartridges.
  • Huge print jobs get sent to the printer by accident blocking all others from printing until it completes.
 Possible Printing Solutions:
  • Whenever possible have the children turn in assignments digitally.
  • If it seems like erroneous print jobs and multiples are coming out of the printer turn the printer off and inform Linda of the problem.
