About Mrs. Burke

    This is my third year teaching at Douglass Middle School. I began my teaching career down in Morgan Hill, where I taught the 5th grade for two years. I then moved to Davis and taught for three years at Gibson Elementary.

    I grew up in Palo Cedro, a small town east of Redding. After graduating from high school I moved down to Southern California to attend UC Irvine. I received a Bachelor's degree in English. A few years later I attended CSU Chico and completed a multiple subject credential with an English supplement. I am now in the process of adding a history supplement to my credential.

     I currently live in Davis with my husband and two very large happy cats.
