Working
With Triangles
Pre-algebra – The 4th grading period
Tip: This is an
introductory unit in graphing linear equations.
This unit will be repeated and expanded in Algebra I. Some of the concepts about triangles in this
Geometry unit are review from sixth grade math.
However, this will be the first time square root and the Pythagorean
Theorem are introduced.
Examples:
The angles in a triangle always
add to what?
The square root of 81 is 9.
