* March 24th: It’s March Madness! The departments at our school are getting in on it. Science starts off the tournament representing Duke, a private college in Durham, North Carolina. Duke holds 5 March Madness titles so winning the tournament seems well in their way.

 

 

*Attention 7th graders: If you are interested in applying for Leadership next year please pick up an application packet from either the counseling office, B-5, or B-9.  Applications are due by today Friday, March 24.

We are looking for a design that shows school spirit and creativity. Please participate and turn in your paper by March 29 in the office. Tickets for the after school performance will be $3 at the door, and free to kids who attend a Playshop. Ticket sales benefit Drama Club. There will be a snack bar at the play, also benefiting Drama Club. 

If you are interested in participating in a special Playshop with the actors, fill out the Google form that is on the DMS homepage in the news section. You will get your Playshop pass and play ticket in the morning on March 20th.

*The girls soccer team won last week against CA Jacobs 3-1 Goals by; Isabella Diaz, Alex Rupert,  and Dianna Madera. The defense did an awesome job holding Dixon back from scoring.

*If you are interested in trying out for the 2017-2018 PHS Cheer Squad you and your parent/guardian must attend the informational meeting being held on February 28th at 6pm in the PHS cafeteria. This meeting is mandatory for parents/guardians and will help you understand the PHS cheer program and commitment. Tryout dates, location and information will be given out at the meeting.
